How to Play Simple Solitaire

Cards snap into place cleanly, the layout is immediately familiar, and nothing gets in the way of just playing. If you grew up with the classic Klondike deal and want it back without any fuss, this is it.

Open the app and a fresh deal is waiting for you
Drag cards onto columns following suit and descending order
Flip from the stock pile when no moves are available on the tableau
Build each suit from Ace to King in the four foundation piles
Start a new deal the moment you finish or want a fresh challenge

Controls

Tap or click a card to select it, then tap or click the destination to move it. Drag and drop works equally well with a mouse or a finger on a touchscreen.

Scoring

Points are earned as you move cards to the foundation piles, so every correct placement counts and finishing a full deal rewards you with the highest score.

When does a round end?

A round ends when all 52 cards are stacked on the four foundation piles by suit, or when you choose to deal again.

Tips & Tricks

Uncover face-down cards in the longest tableau columns first — more hidden cards means more blocked moves
Move an Ace or Two to the foundation the moment you see it, since keeping low cards in the tableau blocks more than they help
Avoid emptying a tableau column unless you have a King ready to fill it immediately
Use the stock pile sparingly early on — cycling through it too fast can leave you with no useful moves later
