How to Play Tents and Trees
You scan the grid, spot the constraints, and feel a quiet satisfaction as each tent clicks into place beside its tree. This is for anyone who enjoys a crisp, rule-based puzzle they can finish in a few minutes or sit with for longer.
- Study the grid and note the row and column numbers around the edges
- Identify trees that have only one possible neighbor cell and place their tents first
- Use the row and column counts to rule out cells where a tent cannot go
- Remember that no two tents may touch — not even diagonally — and adjust your placements
- Continue eliminating and confirming until every tree has exactly one tent and all counts match
Controls
Tap or click a cell to place or remove a tent. Everything you need is on the grid itself — no menus to dig through mid-puzzle.
When does a round end?
A round is complete when every tree has a paired tent, no two tents touch, and every row and column count reaches exactly the number shown.
