How to Play Hearts Pro

Launch the game and sit down at the table
Choose which cards to pass to an opponent before play begins

Controls

Everything is handled with a click or tap — select a card from your hand and play it to the table. Passing cards before a hand works the same way: pick your three and confirm.

Scoring

Hearts cards each carry one point and the Queen of Spades carries thirteen; the goal is to take as few of these penalty points as possible, unless you collect all of them and shoot the moon, landing the points on everyone else instead.

When does a round end?

A round ends once all cards have been played through thirteen tricks and the penalty points for that hand are added to each player's running total.

Tips & Tricks

When passing cards, unload the Queen of Spades early if you have fewer than three spades to protect her
Leading a low heart after spades are broken can flush out high hearts your opponents are hiding
If you find yourself holding the Ace and King of spades, consider going for the moon — you already have control of that suit
Watch which cards the AI plays in the first two tricks; they reveal who is likely avoiding points and who might be building toward a moon attempt
