Killer Sudoku screenshot: When you look at the cages located inside a house (row/column/nonet), you often find some cages that are only partially located inside that house. A part of the cage sticks out. Now when you omit such a cage, the cells from that cage inside the house are called “innies”. When on the other hand you include that cage in your calculations, the cells sticking out of the house are called “outies”.
